Not only does it stimulate your body\u2019s innate healing abilities and deal with physical ailments, it goes right done to the root of problems, whether physical, mental, or emotional.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki helps to relax and cope with stress, harmonising body and mind, and aiding meditation.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki starts a detox process in the body, helping to rid itself of the toxins we take in every day.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki increases intuition and will help you to become more aware of your life\u2019s purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki is a spiritual path, reconnecting you with the power and peace within yourself.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki is not a religion. It is simply a tool that works with whatever religious path you have chosen for your life \u2013 and equally well, if you do not follow traditional religious beliefs.<\/li>\n<li>Reiki is \u201capplied quantum physics\u201d. It works on the level that makes the fabric of the universe, slowly un-doing the illusional world that we created\u2026 and finally:<\/li>\n<li>Reiki will change your life. Once you feel the flow of cosmic energy coming out of your palms, and witness the effect it has on anything it touches, you cannot help but question the established ways of the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What to expect from a Reiki treatment<\/h4>\n<p>During a treatment, the Reiki Practitioner places the hands on the client \u2013 and simply lets the Reiki energy flow. It is generally assumed that the energy is\u00a0not given\u00a0by the practitioner, but\u00a0rather drawn\u00a0by the recipient<\/p>\n<p>Lying comfortably on a therapy couch, the client remains\u00a0fully clothed\u00a0during the treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The practitioner\u2019s hands may be placed on the head, or on various positions near the Chakras along the torso. Often, the hands are placed intuitively. If wished, the treatment can remain \u201chands-off\u201d with the practitioner holding their hands about 10 cm above the client\u2019s body. The energy will flow wherever needed, and can significantly\u00a0aid the body\u2019s innate healing abilities.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, symptoms can increase for a short period when healing starts (This is known as a \u201chealing crisis\u201d). Receiving a treatment is normally a deeply relaxing experience, balancing and harmonizing body and mind, and giving comfort and peace.<\/p>\n<p>Some clients experience a meditative state where they see colours or images or embark on an \u201cinner spiritual journey\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, clients experience that\u00a0suppressed emotions or problems are released, or old memories revoked.
